Guisti, Richard E., 92, formerly of East Providence passed away Thursday (4/23/2026) at the Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. Born in Pawtucket a son of the late Eugene and Angelina (Rocabella) Guisti, he had lived in East Providence most of his life. He was the husband of the late Norma (Souza) Guisti. Mr. Guisti was a Korean army veteran. He had worked in concrete construction most of his life. He leaves a son Richard A. (Bethann) Guisti, JFD two daughters; Sharon (Jacob) Fiato of Boynton Beach, FL and Marlene Guisti of East Providence. Four grandchildren, Jacob Fiato, Paige Mederios, Allie Guisti and Addison Guisti. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Robert Bellamine Church, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston on May 8, 2026. Private burial with military honors in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter, under the direction of the Stapleton Barry Holdredge Funeral Home.
