Teresa M. Provost, a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2026, at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. She was the beloved daughter of the late Raymond Vezina and the late Marie (Zampini) Vezina.

Teresa was the loving wife of the late Richard F. Provost and a proud mother to her two children: her son, Richard E. Provost of Putnam, Connecticut, and her daughter, Denise M. Provost of Johnston. She was also a devoted “G-ma” to her two beautiful grandchildren, Olivia and Timothy Provost of Griswold, Connecticut, who brought her endless joy.

She was the beloved sister of the late Pauline Rapose, the late Margaret Musso, and the late Raymond Vezina. Teresa also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews.

Teresa truly loved spending time with her family, and her warmth, kindness, and caring nature were felt by all who knew her. She worked for many years at Seabra Market in Cranston before retiring in 2015, where she was known for her strong work ethic and friendly smile.

Teresa was deeply loved and will be missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.

Burial will be held Saturday (3-14-26) in the chapel at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston, Rhode Island at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Teresa’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
