Gaumond, Marie F., 94, formerly of Blackamore Avenue, passed peacefully Sunday (Aug 13, 2023) at the Riverview rehabilitation Center in Coventry. Born in Prince Edward Island, Canada a daughter of the late Oswald and Mabel C. (Duffy) Kelly and she was the wife of the late Edward F. Gaumond. Mrs. Gaumond was a secretary at the State of RI Health Department before retiring in 1992. She had previously worked for the Blackstone Mutual Fire Insurance Co. She leaves 3 sons: James E. (Janice) Gaumond of Warwick, John F. (Donna) Gaumond of Cranston and Steven A. Gaumond of Cranston. A daughter Jean M. (Richard) Canning of Bradenton, FL, 6 grandchildren Ryan, Nicholas, Nolan, Joshua Gaumond, Lynsey Colgan and Joshua L. Canning. Six Great Grandchildren; Jack and Katie Colgan, Hailey, Lilly Olivia and Forest Gaumond. Funeral Service Friday (Aug 18, 2023) in the chapel at Highland Memorial Park, Johnston at 10:30am.
