Bello, Robert E., 82, of Cranston, passed Tuesday at Kent County Hospital. Born in Providence, a son of the late Michael and Ruth (Olson) Bello, he had lived in Cranston for most of his life. Bob was a carpenter by trade, building homes and furniture. In his spare time, he enjoyed a variety of woodworking projects, which included restoring antique boats. He was quite fond of Cape Cod and spent many summers there with his family. He was also active in his church with different committees as well as being a Eucharistic Minister. He leaves 3 sons; Michael Bello of Cranston, Steven (Lori) Bello of Rehoboth, MA, and David (Jonnie) Bello also of Cranston, 7 grandchildren and 1 Great Granddaughter. He was brother of the late Richard Bello OD. His life will be celebrated Friday from 8:45am to 10:00am in the Stapleton Family Funeral Home, 684 Park Avenue, Cranston with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mark Church, Garden City at 10:30am. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
