Auxier, Robert “Bob” M., 64, died Sunday, June 23 at his home in Providence. He was a son of the late Robert and Clare (Raney) Auxier. Bob had a masters degree from URI where he also did his undergrauate work. He was a published poet, writer, tantric Buddhist, chess enthusiast, bookseller, wit and for many years a Game Master for Call of Cthulhu roleplaying. He leaves behind his life partner Holly Van-Wye and two sons; Brian (Heather) Auxier of North Providence and Mst Sgt Daniel (Michele) Auxier, US Army stationed in Portland, OR and a granddaughter Adelina, 2 brothers Timothy and Scott Auxier. He was brother of the late Michael Auxier. There will be an informal gathering to celebrate his interesting and unusual life on Sunday, July 7th at noon in the Stapleton Family Funeral Home, 684 Park Avenue, Cranston with an informal service at 1:00pm.
