Wong, Ying Tung, 92, 0f Holden Street Providence, passed peacefully Saturday (5-6-2023) at home. Born in Canton, China a daughter of the late Pong Kai Chu and Yuk Lan Chan, she came to this country in 1968 and soon after became a citizen. She was the wife of the late Eight “Eddie” Moon Wong. She worked in the family restaurant, Hoy Tin Restaurant in Swansea, MA for 48 years. She is survived by 2 sons “John” Kwok Chun Wong of Cranston and Dennis Wong of Pawtucket and 2 grandchildren. Her life will be celebrated with calling hours Wednesday from 8:00am to 10:00am in the Stapleton Family Funeral Home, 684 Park Avenue, Cranston, RI. Burial will follow in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
