Wong, Miao Chang, 79, of Cranston, passed peacefully Thursday (1/18/2024) at RI Hospital. Born in Canton, China, she came to Rhode Island in 1984 and became a citizen in 2007. She was a daughter of the late Chang Xu and Xiu Wu. She was the wife of the late Gin Ying Wong. She leaves three sons Thomas R. (Michelle) Wong of Cranston, Ren X. (Karen) Wong of Norwich, CT and Ren B. Wong of Cranston. Her legacy lives on with four granddaughters; Elizabeth and Christine Wong of Cranston and Kaylie and Yenney Wong of Norwich, CT. Her life will be celebrated with calling hours Monday (1/22/2024) from 8:00am to 10:00am in the Stapleton Family Funeral Home, 684 Park Avenue, Cranston. Burial will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick.
