Obituaries

 

Podvin, Henry William, 76, of Providence, passed away Saturday (August 16) at the Hope Health Hulitar Hospice Center after a long illness. Born in Malden, MA, a son of the late Henry W. Jr. and Buelah (Burns) Podvin.

He was a graduate of Central High School and a proud Vietnam Veteran. He worked in manufacturing for 42 years before retiring from Honeywell in Cranston in 2012.

Henry is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years Sandra (Lozowski) Podvin, a son Henry L. Podvin of Warwick and a daughter Michele L. Podvin of MA.

His life will be celebrated with calling hours, Thursday, Aug 21, 2025 from 7pm to 9pm in the Butterfield Funeral Home 500 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston, Burial will be in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter, Friday, Aug 22 at 11am. Arrangements under the direction of Stapleton Family Funeral Home of Cranston, RI.
