Stamatakis, Eleni, 64, Passed peacefully Wednesday, 7-23-2025, at RI Hospital with her family by her side. Born in Pireas, Greece she came to this country in 1975 and became a citizen shortly after. She was a daughter of the late Pantelis and Aspasia (Patronidou) Vafiadis. She was the husband of Vasilios (Bill) Stamatakis. They were residents of Cranston, RI.

Besides her husband she leaves a son; Derek Beaulieu of Worcester, two daughters; Christine Heinz of Tarpon Springs, FL and Michelle Bryce of Herkimer, NY; Keith Stamatakis of Worcester, MA, Ioannis Stamatakis of London, England and Matina Stamatakis of Philadelphia, PA; 7 Grandchildren and 1 great grandson.

Her life will be celebrated Monday 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the Butterfield Funeral Home, 500 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston, RI. Funeral service Tuesday at 8:30am at 500 Pontiac Avenue with a Christian Service to be held in the Church of the Annunciation, 175 Oaklawn Avenue, Cranston, RI at 10:00am. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston, RI.
