Obituaries

 

 

Paulos, Joaquim F., 81, Passed peacefully (12/10/2024) at home with his family around him. Born in Assanhas, Portugal he came to America in 1967 and became a citizen in 1975. He was a son of the late Francisco and Adozinda (Ferreira) Paulo. He was the husband of Esperança (Fonseca) Paulos and was married for over 55 years.

Besides his wife he leaves a daughter, Susan (Victor) Martins of Cranston, a son Stevan (Amanda) Paulos of Cranston, 3 brothers; Antonio Paulo, and Albino Paulo of Palm Coast, FL and Jose Paulos of Cranston, 2 sisters; Fernanda Nunes and Maria Marques of Palm Coast, FL and 4 Grandchildren Alexia (Elias) Pariseau, Eric Martins, Faith and Skye Paulos.

He was a member of the Cranston Portuguese Club, the Nucleo Sportinguista da Nova Inglaterra of Cranston and the Sporttinguistas de Rhode Island in Cumberland. He worked for Davol until his retirement.

His life will be celebrated with calling hours Tuesday (12/17/2024) from 4:00pm to 8:00pm in Stapleton Family Funeral Home, 684 Park Avenue, Cranston. Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of the Rosary, 21 Traverse St., Providence, Wednesday at 10:00am. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery.
