Stevenson, Yvette J., of Cranston peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Edward W. Stevenson for 46 years. Born in Vienne, France, she was a daughter of the late Denis and Seraphie (Belleveque) Pellisson.  
Mrs. Stevenson worked as an assembler at Gem Case in Cranston for 22 years and then as a hostess at the Comfort Inn in Warwick for 8 1/2 years.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Stevenson is survived by three children, Francesca Austin and her husband David, Chantal Poschmann and her husband Robert, Victor Stevenson and seven cherished grandchildren, Victoria, Stephanie, Ryan, Olivia, Michael, Briana and Andrew. She was the sister of Juliette Chex Pellisson, Lucienne Roche, Eliane Celette, Denis Maurice Pellisson, Janine Pellisson and the late, Christiane Pellisson, Jean, Claude Pellisson and Yves Pellisson and the sister-in-law of Dorothy Curtis, MaryJane Jaklitsch and the late William Stevenson and Robert Stevenson.
Her life will be celebrated with calling hours on Tuesday, February 21st from 5-8 p.m. at the Stapleton Family Funeral Home, 684 Park Avenue, Cranston with a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, February 22nd in Saint Matthew's Church, Elmwood Avenue, Cranston at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Comprehensive Cancer Center at RI Hospital, 573 Eddy Street, Providence, RI 02903
