Perez, Annamarie, 55, of Providence, passed peacefully Saturday, March 13, 2022, at the Hulitar Hospice Intake Center. Born in Providence a daughter of the late John A. and Barbara J. (Cofran) Moniz. Anna was a teacher’s aide at Carl G. Lauro Elementary School. She leaves a son Valentin M. Perez of Providence and besides her sister Michele Moniz of Providence, she leaves another sister Brenda Moniz of Providence and one grandchild Lillie Perez. She was mother of the late Yudelca Moniz. Annamarie worked for the City of Providence School Department as a teacher’s aide at the Carl G. Lauro Elementary School where she worked alongside her sister Michele for 18 years. Her family will be gathered at the Stapleton Family Funeral Home, 684 Park Avenue, Cranston from 3:00pm to 5:00pm Friday, 3/18/2022, to receive friends. After which the family will move to the HGBC Hall at 59 Brightridge Avenue, East Providence 02914.
