Pereira, Filipe A. 82 Of Cranston passed peacefully Sunday (1/13/19) with his family by his side at RI Hospital. Born in Lisbon, Portugal, a son of the late Constantino and Sesaltina (Engracia) Pereira. He was the husband of Rita (Conceicao) Pereira. Mr. Pereira worked at Leviton for 19 years before retiring in 1995. He became naturalized in 1961 and was proud of his American Citizenship. Besides his wife he leaves 2 sons, Joel S. Pereira and Luis F. Pereira, Sr. and a daughter Ana P. Pereira all of Cranston and a grandson Luis F. Pereira, Jr. He was brother of the late Abilio Pereira His life will be celebrated with calling hours Thursday from 8:30 to 10:15 in the Stapleton Family Funeral Home, 684 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 in St. Mark Church, 15 Garden City Drive, Cranston. Burial will be in St Ann Cemetery.
