Parkhurst, Mildred K., 74, of Cranston passed peacefully Thursday, 6/18/2020. She was a daughter of the late Joseph E. and Mildred K. (O’Rourke) Parkhurst. Mildred worked as a surgical linen aide at RI Hospital for over 42 years before retiring in 2009. She was formerly a St. Matthew Church communicant for many years. She had her favorite priest in Fr. James Collins and Fr. William LeDoux. Her life will be celebrated with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston, Tuesday at 10:00am where regulations (face mask and 6 foot spacing) must be followed. Burial will take place immediately following in St. Ann Cemetery.
