Wing Tat Lou, 83, died peacefully Saturday, 12/8/2018, at Rhode Island Hospital. Mr. Lou was a son of the late Jia He Lou and Nan H. Chen. He was married to Lai Wong Ng. Mr. Lou had worked as a chef for the Ho-Ho Restaurant for 40 years before retiring in 1998. He became naturalized in 1996 as an American citizen. He was a member of the Chinese Association. Besides his wife he leaves a son Brian (Wendy) Loue of Melrose Ma, 3 daughters; Yen (Correy) Maher, of Scituate, Dottie (Jason) Deines of Cumberland and Mary (Jimmy) Tsang of Cranston, 2 brothers, Rong Guang Lei and Rong Zhen Lei. He also had 4 grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Jean Chin. His life will be celebrated with calling hours Thursday from 5-8 pm in the Stapleton Family Funeral Home, 684 Park Avenue, Cranston. Funeral service Friday 8:30 to 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick RI.
