Gomez, Juan I., 83, of Providence passed Sunday, October 25, 2020, surrounded by family at RI Hospital. Born in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico a son of Ernest and Martina (Gomez) Gomez and was the husband of 60years to Judith (Santana) Gomez. Mr. Gomez was a plumber with 40 years experience and had worked at Brown University before retiring in 1999. He was a proud US Army veteran. Besides his wife he leaves a son Jason Gomez of Providence and a daughter Katherine Rodriguez of Cranston, 2 sisters; Dominga Maldonado of Cranston and Eugenia O’Neil of Providence and a brother Benito Gomez of Puerto Rico. Also 3 grandchildren Katerina and William Rodriguez and Jennifer Gomez and a great granddaughter Sofia Amelia Rodriguez. Funeral services are private for family members only.
