Charlotte Renee Gomes 60, died peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on October 16, 2023.Charlotte was born in Providence, RI to the late Adrian C. Gomes and Betty-Lou Gomes (Fontes), on November 6, 1962.

Charlotte Graduated from Central High School, where she was also a very popular cheerleader. She was employed for many years at the Providence school department before retiring.

Charlotte was the life of the party, you could catch her on the dance floor and would literally have to pull her off of it. She was known to always speak her mind and never bite her tongue. She loved her bandanas and hanging with her close friends and family.

Charlotte leaves to cherish her memory, her mother Betty-Lou Gomes, daughter Chanelle Hamilton and son Sharrod Hamilton, sisters Tina Gross (Dwight), Adrienna Gomes, Tricia Gomes (Derek), Andrea Gomes and one brother Adrian Brown, grandchildren Jurney Renae Bell, Darrell Lyons, Dalyss Lyons and Xhouri Adams. Godchildren Michael, Lashan, Tiffany and Marian. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends

She will be truly missed by ALL, in her words this is not goodbye but rather see you later.

Visiting Hours will be held on Wednesday October 25, 2023, at Stapleton Barry Holdredge Funeral Home, 684 Park Ave. Cranston, RI from 10am - 12pm. Funeral service at 12pm.
