Barbara Ann Gemmell, age 89 of Beavercreek OH, and formerly of Warwick RI, passed away Sunday, August 1, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Gemmell, Jr., parents Charles and Eleanor Harrington, and brother Rodney Harrington.

Barbara is survived by her children Gail (Dimitrios) Agaliotis, Diane (Dennis) Kirlin, and Mark Gemmell, grandchildren Jennifer (Adam) Perraut, Christine (John) Lovelace, Alexander Agaliotis, Christopher Agaliotis, Michelle (Nicholas) Kirlin, Michael Kirlin, Brandon Gemmell, Elizabeth Gemmell, and Matthew Gemmell, and great-grandchildren Shannon (Jamie) Brandenburg and Summer Lovelace.

She was a long-term dedicated Rhode Island state civil servant. She was an avid reader and a frequent visitor to the Warwick Public Library. She was a member of St. Gregory the Great parish, Warwick, RI.

A private service will be held in Cranston, RI, in the Stapleton Family Funeral Home, 684 Park Avenue, Cranston with interment to follow at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston RI. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hospice of Dayton, Inc., 324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton, Ohio 45420 or on-line at www.hospiceofdayton.org are welcome.
