Driscoll, Diane L., 83, of Coventry past peacefully Monday (12/2/2024) with her family by her side at the Steere House Nursing Home, Providence. Born in Cranston a daughter of the late Joseph L. and Helen (Bulpitt) Frenier. She was the wife of the late Dennis F. Driscoll. Diane was the former proprietor of Diane’s Tailoring and Dry Cleaning on Park Avenue in Cranston. She leaves a son Dennis W. Driscoll of Branford, CT., a brother-in-law, Edward Driscoll of Cranston, a son-in-law Brian Gilbert of Bristol, RI, 4 grandchildren; Jamie Gilbert, Kayla and her husband John Creighton, Tyler Gilbert and Logan Driscoll, 3 great grandchildren; Ethan Creighton, Greyson Gilbert and Madelyn Gilbert. She was the mother of the late Lori Gilbert. Funeral Saturday (12/7/2024) from 11:00 TO 12:00PM in the Stapleton Family Funeral Home, 684 Park Avenue, Cranston, where family and friends are invited. Funeral Service will be at 12:00pm. Burial will be Highland Memorial Park, One Rhode Island Avenue, Johnston. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Rhode Island SPCA, 155 Plan Way, Warwick, RI 02886.
