Wan Chun, 86, of Cranston passed Thursday, 7/16/2020, at Roger Williams Medical Center. Born in Canton, China, the son of Sei Yelle Lian, he came to America in 1979 and became a citizen of the United States in 1998. He was the husband of So Chin Chun. Mr. Chun was a chef for over 30 years the last of which was at the Lucky Inn in Waterford CT for 8 years and prior to that at the China Village in Westerly RI for over 18 years. Besides his wife he leaves 5 daughters; Kristen (Johnny) Ng of Sturbridge, MA, Cindy (Yong Li) Chun of Riverside, Amy (Donald) Chin of Cranston, Jenny (John) Schroeder of New London, CT, Emma (Clark) Baird of Georgia, VT, 9 grandchildren, Michael, Sydney and Sora Ng, Nicholas and Calvin Li, Brandon and Shania Chin, Jeffrey Schroeder and Bowyn Baird. His life will be celebrated Monday in the Stapleton Family Funeral Home, 684 Park Avenue, Cranston from 9:00am to 10:00am Due to the Pandemic regulations, only 25 people can be allowed in the funeral home at a time and face masks and social distancing will apply. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park in Johnston.
