Chen, Zhen Bong, 79, died Sunday 3/18/18, at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of 55 years of the late Yue Xian Kuang. He came to the United States in 1982 and became a citizen in 1996. He was a son of the late James Hon Chen and Kai Lin Kon. Mr. Chen was a cook for several chinese restaurants before retiring in 1994 from The China Sea Restaurant in Warwick. He leaves 2 sons; Guang W. Chen of Cranston and Simon S. Chen of Providence, 2 daughters Ai Betty Chen of West Warwick, Helen C. Chen of Cranston, 8 grandchildren, Alex, Michelle, Elizabeth, Grace, Crystal and Nathan Chen, Edmund and Juliana Chan and a great grandson Aden Chen Zhen's life will be celebrated with calling hours Friday (3/23/2018) from 8:00am to 9:00am. Burial to follow at Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick.
