Burgess, Jean M., 67, of North Providence, passed, Monday, May 29 2023 at home. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Edgar H. Jr. and Edna M. (Shadden) Burgess, she lived in North Providence. Jean had some college credits but was not a graduate. She was a dispatcher for Amica Insurance before retiring in 2010.
She leaves 2 sisters; Dorothy G. Lariviere of North Providence, Bertha Golden of San Antonio, TX, a brother John E Burgess of Chicago, IL and many nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews. She was sister of the late Barbara B. Joly and Edgar H. Burgess III.
Her life will be celebrated on, Wednesday, June 28 at 12:00noon in the Stapleton Family Funeral Home, 684 Park Avenue, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Peter and St Andrew Food Pantry, 25 Pamona Avenue, Providence, RI 02908 would be appreciated.
