Patricia M. Britto 77, of Providence Street passed away peacefully with family by her side at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. Born in Beckley, West Virginia on June 16, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Lillie Mae (Gilbreath) Hairston. She is predeceased by her husband Joseph Britto and her only sibling Dana D. Jackson.

Formerly of Maine, Patricia lived in Providence for the last 37 years and proudly called Rhode Island her home. As a faithful member of Ebenezer Baptist Church she served as part of the Pastor's Aid Ministry where she shared special times with her church family.

Patricia enjoyed the best moments of her life with family and friends. She welcomed good conversation and lots of laughter.

She leaves with their special memories- her Daughters Celeste Turner of Johnston RI, Dawna Peterson of Naples ME, Deborah Hudson of Hampton VA, her Sons, Cecil Hairston, of Saint Cloud FL, Stephen Hairston of Lewiston Me, Tracey Blair of Minneapolis MN, nineteen* (2 predeceased) grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, three nieces and one nephew (predeceased) who blessed her with many more nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours for Patricia will be held on Saturday August 26, 2023 12-2 PM at Stapleton Family Funeral Home 684 Park Avenue, Cranston RI 02910.
