Stapleton, Anna M., 86, of Warwick past peacefully at her home, Saturday (5-25-2024), surrounded by her loving family. She was a daughter of the late Raymond and Bella (Perry) Sadilier and wife to the late Francis (Red) Stapleton.

Anna was an amazing woman, an amazing person, mother and friend. Anna was her families everything, a brownie leader, a girl scout leader, softball coach and best friend. She treated all her kids like they were her favorites. Anna was a union bus driver for the cities of Warwick and then Cranston where she finally retired.

Anna leaves 2 sons; Daniel (Donna) Stapleton of Coventry, Thomas J. Stapleton of Warwick, 4 daughters; Barbara Holberton of Pawcatuck, Sandra (Charles) Cloutier of Richmond, Kellie Mascia of Warwick and JoAnn DeMarco of Cranston, 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Anna's life will be celebrated Tuesday evening, May 28, from 5 – 7 pm in the Stapleton Family Funeral Home, 684 Park Avenue, Cranston. A funeral service will be held Wednesday May 29, 10:00am, in the funeral home. Burial will take place in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
