Obituaries

 

Santos, Ronald G., 70, of Coventry passed Monday 2/13/2017, at home.  Born in Providence, a son of Juanita Santos (Menard) of Warwick and the late Manuel Santos Jr.  Ron resided in Cranston for most of his life. 
Ron was a US Army Viet Nam veteran.  He was an offset lithographer for 40 years before retiring in 2009.  He formally worked for Cogan’s Printing.  After retiring Ron became a full time volunteer at the VA Hospital in Providence for many years.
He is survived by his Mother and two daughters; Kerri Sutton and Stacey Peiczarek.and six grandchildren, Kyle, Kaylee, James, Justin, Alyssa, and Everleigh.
He was a devoted and loving father and grandfather. He could always be found helping others in need.  He will be missed greatly by all the lives he touched.
His life will be celebrated with calling hours Saturday, February 18, from 10 to 12 with a service to follow at noontime in the Stapleton Family Funeral Home, 684 Park Avenue, Cranston.  Burial with Military Honors will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Coventry.  In lieu of flowers please make donations in Ron’s memory to Von Hippel-Lindau Family Alliance.  VHL Alliance, 1208 VFW Parkway, Suite 303, Boston, MA 02132.
