Obituaries

 

Santos, Joshua J., 27, of Cranston passed peacefully Thursday, March 16, 2023, at home. Born in Providence a son of Joseph L. Santos and Maria J. DaLuz he was involved in an accident 1 ½ years that left him paralyzed. After graduating high school, he took several college courses.

His love of football was near and dear to him as he played in high school and was looking forward to playing college football.

Besides his parents he leaves 2 grandmothers; Natercia Fonseca and Ines Mendonca both of Cranston. A sister Jewel M. Santos of Cranston and a step-mother Cecilia (DiCecco) Santos of Cranston and his pal Eevee the Pitbull who was the love of his life.

His life will be celebrated Tuesday with calling hours 8:00am to 10:15am in the Stapleton Family Funeral Home, 684 Park Avenue, Cranston with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Matthew Church, Elmwood Avenue at 11:00am. Burial will be in St Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
