Lang, Diane E., 73, passed peacefully Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at the Brentwood Nursing Home with her family by her side. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Richard and Lillian (Cavanaugh) Lang she had lived in Cranston all of her life.

Diane was a teacher with the Warwick School Department for 32 years before retiring in 2006. She was a graduate of Bryant University where she received her Masters Degree. Diane was a member of the Bryant University Alumni Association and a member of the RI Federation of Retired Teachers..

She leaves a sister Arlene (Louis, Sr.) Manuel of Guyton, GA, a nephew Louis Jr. (Tiffany) Manuel and two great nephews Caiden and Austin Manuel.

Her life will be celebrated with calling hours Friday 5:00 to 7:00pm in the Stapleton Family Funeral Home, 684 Park Avenue, Cranston. Funeral Saturday 8:30 am from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mark Church at 10:00 am 31 Poplar Drive, Garden City, Cranston at. Burial will be in St Ann Cemetery, Cranston. At the family’s request, donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Hope Health Hospice, 1085 North Main Street, Providence 02904.
