Obituaries

 

 

Julio, Maria S., 92, of Warwick passed peacefully Friday, Dec 18, 2020, at home. Born in Santarem, Portugal, a daughter of the late Silvino and Maria (Joaquina) Manuel. She was the wife of the late Jose Julio.

Mrs. Julio came to the United States in 1983 and 5 years later became a citizen. She worked at Elmwood Sensors for 16 years before retiring in 1994.

She leaves a daughter Laura (Antonio) Paulino of Warwick, a sister Laura Estacio of Warwick, a brother Joaquim Manuel of Portugal, 3 grandchildren; Joel (Ana) Paulino of Cranston, Nelson Ventura of Warwick and Vera (Joseph) Kilduff of Warwick and 5 great grandchildren; Gabriela Paulino, Bianca Kilduff, Sophie and Cameron Ventura and Alex Amedeo. She was mother of the late Joaquim Ventura.

Due to the COVID pandemic calling hours are private. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Church, Traverse Street, Providence, Thursday, 12/24/2020, at 9:00am with limited capacity and all safety measures will apply. Private burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Arrangements are with Stapleton Family Funeral Home.
