Degnan, S. Margaret, 95, Passed Saturday (2/24/2018). Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Edmund and Margaret (Wendel) Fitzgerald she and her late husband, Lawrence Degnan, Sr. had been married for 63 years before his passing. She was a stay at home wife and mother. She leaves a son Lawrence (Marjorie) Degnan of North Providence, a daughter Peggy (Joe) Gergora of Cranston, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandsons. She was mother of the late Patricia Degnan and John Degnan. Her life will be celebrated with calling hours Tuesday 4-7 in the Stapleton Family Funeral Home, 684 Park Avenue, Cranston. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Church Wednesday at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to St. Mary Church Fund, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston, RI 02920. Private burial in St Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
