Obituaries

 

Chin, May Ying, 95, passed peacefully Thursday (4/27/17) at the Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence.  Born in Guangdong, China a daughter of the late She Sing and Tse Se Wong, she came to America in the seventies and became a citizen of the US in 1980.
Mrs. Chin was a home schooled educated woman as well as a housewife when she married Gim Hong Chin.
She leaves a daughter-in-law Deborah J. Chin of Providence, and two grandsons, Andrew and Zachary Chin.  She was the mother of the late Gim Hong Chin, Sim Park Chin and May Lee Chin.
Her life will be celebrated with calling hours Monday from 8 to 10am in the Stapleton Family Funeral Home, 684 Park Avenue, Cranston.  Burial will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Cemetery, Warwick.
